Terms of service

These terms govern your use of PromoShopping.ai (“we”, “us”), a price-checking service for shops in Great Britain. By signing up you agree to them on behalf of your business.

1. The service

You send us restock lists (barcode and quantity). We check what each line costs at each supplier you have named and send back a set of orders showing which supplier to buy each item from and the estimated saving. We do not place orders for you.

2. Prices and their accuracy

Prices are gathered by automated means from your own supplier accounts where you give us access, and from other information lawfully available to us. If you give us a supplier login, we use it only to look up the prices offered to your account, store it encrypted, and stop using it whenever you ask.

The prices, savings and totals we show are estimates, not quotations or offers. They may be out of date, and supplier prices, promotions, stock and terms can change at any time. Check the basket total with the supplier before you order. Every order is placed by you, at your own discretion.

3. Fees and payment

The service is a subscription, paid monthly or yearly, at the price of your plan agreed when we switch you on. Each extra shop on the same account is charged at the extra-shop price. A promotional price applies for the period stated with the offer. Prices are shown before VAT, which is added at the current rate.

You pay by card, or by bank transfer or another method we agree with you. Your account is switched on once the first payment is received. If a payment is more than 7 days late we may pause your account until it is paid; nothing is deleted, and it switches back on when payment arrives.

4. Cancellation

There is no minimum term. You can cancel at any time and your subscription ends at the end of the period you have paid for. Tell us if you would like your supplier logins removed and your account closed.

5. Your responsibilities

• Send accurate lists, and tell us which suppliers, depots and price tiers you buy on.
• Check every order against the supplier's own prices before you buy. Pack sizes, minimum order values and delivery terms remain your responsibility.
• Use the service for your own business's buying only.

6. Liability

Our service is advisory. To the fullest extent the law allows we are not liable for losses from an inaccurate estimate, from a supplier's prices, stock, delivery or terms, or for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability to you in any twelve month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

7. Changes

We may update these terms, and will give you at least 30 days' notice of any change that materially affects you.
